N4D8B08 board function

I wonder is it possible to have something like watchdog function: relay turned on only for dedicated period of time (1s for example) so host should resent command periodically to keep it on. We are using android as system master and app can accidentally crash. That way valve wouldn't stay opened in case app crash.
