We are evaluating the AMDIB16 (16DI, PNP version, RS485 Modbus RTU) for a production-counting project with 466 knitting machines. We would need about 70 units, and we have some technical questions before ordering samples:

1. Pulse counter: does each of the 16 inputs have a built-in pulse counter? If yes, please send the register addresses, Modbus function code, counter size (16 or 32 bit), maximum counting frequency and minimum pulse width.
   2. Counter retention: is the counter value kept after a power loss? How can a counter be cleared?
   3. Input filter: is there a configurable debounce / input filter time?
   4. Input voltage: our sensors are PNP 24 VDC (up to about 26 V). Can the digital inputs work continuously at this voltage? What is the maximum voltage on the DI terminals?
   5. Wiring: please send the PNP wiring diagram and confirm which terminal is the input common.
   6. Modbus: please send the complete register map (input status, counters, address and baud rate settings). We will read the modules through a Modbus TCP to RTU gateway with 4 modules per RS485 bus. Is there any limitation we should know about?
