RT24G01 technical support

Hi
I am interested in RT24G01 but I’d like to about the latency between 31 byte packets. I want to use it for solar battery system to connect to the smart meter - How will I know if the devices will be compatible?

Maybe I should just ask which RF device I should use to connect a Fronius inverter to the smart meter wirelessly. The distance is about 70m but I want to market the product to other installers in Australia and distance could be up to 500m.
