I'm testing with the battery absent, with a DC source on Vin, should I be able to change the output voltage with the trimpot?
But when changing the trimpot, the output voltage does not change
Adjusting the trimpot doesn't change the output voltage, im using a DC power supply in the input for testing.
Is this normal or faulty?
Answer :
This may be because the output voltage is high while the input voltage is low. Please test as follows:
1. Supply a DC 24V power supply to the VIN and GND terminals.
2. Use a multimeter to measure the BAT and GND output terminals. Slowly turn the potentiometer and observe the output voltage. If there is no change after several turns, try turning it in the opposite direction.
if the IN voltage is lower than the MPPT selected voltage it output 0V?
Answer :
Yes
