ND1A21MB is a mini unidirectional UPS power module designed and produced by eletechsup. Its charging port and discharge port use the same port. It is used to power loads within 5V 1A in emergencies.
Description:
Bidirectional 5V 1.2A Charge and Discharger(Boost) UPS modules
Power supply : DC 5V,>=2A
Charging current : Max 1.2A
Full charge voltage : 4.17-4.25V
Discharge voltage: 4.95-5.1V
Discharge current: 1.2A
Operating ambient temperature : -40° to +85°
Storage temperature : -55° to +150°
Small Size: 20.5*6*4MM
Light Weight :<0.6g
Note:
1 After the main power fails, it takes 1.5 seconds to switch to battery power. If you mind, it is recommended to use ND1A05MA
2 This version does not have a charge and discharge indicator light
Features:
5V/1.2A Bi-Directional Charger & Boost
80μA No load Iq
Up to 95% Efficiency during Boosting
Automatic Mode Switching
Short circuit protection
Overheat protection
Short circuit protection
Overheat protection
Automatic charging
Tips:
The module has a simple charge and discharge protection function.
You can use batteries without a protective plate or with a protective plate.
Applications:
for Arduino UNO MEGA2560 Uninterrupted Power Supply
Battery powered equipment
Lithium Battery 18650 14500
UPS power supply equipment diy
STM32 FPGA/CPLD PIC AVR Board
Electronic diy kit
Wifi Module ESP8266 ESP32
Bluetooth-Compatible Module:HC-05 HC-06 SPP-C
Pin Description:
V+ :Charging and discharging common port+(5V)
V- :Charging and discharging common port-(5V)
B+:Battery +(4.20V)
B-:Battery -(4.20V)
Working principle:
1 When powered on, the power supply charges the battery and supplies power to the load at the same time
2 When the battery is fully charged, charging stops and the power supply continues to supply power to the load
3 When the power supply is disconnected, about 1.5 seconds, the battery discharges to the load through the module

Special note on discharge: When discharging, if the measured load voltage is less than 4.9V, it may be caused by too much voltage division of the wire.
At this time, please directly measure the output port of the module, and you will find that its output voltage is still greater than 4.9V.
