ETHUB18 FAQ

ETHUB18  How do I poll multiple channels via tcp server? For example I have 2 modbus networks one has 6 slaves id 1 to 6, and the other 4 slaves ids 1 to 4. How do I specify what channel to use? Do I need to set up different ports?   Answer: This is an Ethernet to RS485 HUB. All ports of the HUB share the same bus.

Program number 2 on the computer is connected to relay number 1 via the RS485 connector. Program number 1 and program number 2 are running simultaneously on the computer. The signal to open the relay can be sent by either program number 1 or program number 2.   Can the ETROB02 2DI-2DO work in this way?     Answer :  Yes. Ethernet and RS485 can work at the same time.
